HOW WE WORK

Rebecca’s intention as a teacher is to help students discover presence through play, teaching sequences that are fun, innovative, creative and smart. She believes in a strong focus on developing the strength to safely support flexibility, while using movement as a tool for mindfulness, communication, creativity and self-expression. 

Develop the strength, awareness, and mobility to safely deepen your backbend practice. Rebecca’s approach combines drills, assists, and transitions inspired by yoga, contortion, dance and Thai massage.

Over the course of the weekend she will support you to develop a strong, solid, and safe backbend practice specific to your individual needs and goals.

Giusy believes that doing yoga is not merely copying a pose showcased by the teacher. Her teaching style allows the students to deeply understand and embrace asanas so that they becomes one's own form and are fully aware of the movement. She loves to work in a gentle way and on multiple fronts: muscularly with mobility to improve flexibility and strength, and humanly so students can deepen the ability to listen to themselves.

Develop your body awareness through the moment, learn how to feel free to express what your body needs on the mat, and reconnect to your primitive muscle intelligence!
